Audacious Theatre presents a Romantic Event for Literary Lovers Love can leave you speechless, but this Valentine’s Day weekend, let history’s greatest writers do the talking for you. Yours Truly is a romantic theatre event which brings to life love letters written by some of history’s greatest authors and artists, including Mark Twain, Jane Austen, Oscar Wilde, Beethoven, Virginia Woolf and F. Scott Fitzgerald. Amorous attendees will also be romanced by live music and personalized love poems in the ballroom of the elegant and historic Lumber Baron Inn, which will provide curated cocktails and sumptuous dining choices. Semi-formal dress is highly encouraged. This theatrical experience is crafted by Audacious Theatre, which seeks to create innovative, interactive and immersive theatrical events that engage all of the senses. In 2018, they won a Best of Denver Award from Westword for The Best Theatre to Pop Up in Unexpected Places. The script is edited by Ren Manley, who penned Van Helsing’s Daughters and Lady Killers, and the production is directed by Logan Custer. The cast includes Joey Laughlin, Ren Manley, Andrew Norman, Bethany Richardson & Isis Usborne. Please note: The historic Lumber Baron Inn is not handicap accessible and attendees will need to climb stairs to reach the ballroom.
